MALAGA, SPAIN
The ephemeral nature required for the park and the low environmental impact sought within the historical centre of the city were the principal motives for using wooden pallets in the construction of the various elements of this children’s playground in the Plaza de la Judería. It is a low cost material requiring little labour which, in combination with the vegetation and the suitable indirect illumination already present, is used to create the different areas and functions of the park.
The main construction in the park is a small, open-air auditorium which aims to transform the space into a lively cultural space where a variety of events related to music, painting, reading etc. can be held.
