Respect for the landscape and the natural surroundings is one of the guiding principles of System projects in its constant search for sustainability and energy efficiency.
The interruptions in the lines of the project's floor plan reflect the optimum orientation required to balance the energy gains and losses in winter and summer. A “reactive bioclimatic skin” was designed as an active bioclimatic strategy for the different courtyards, which regulates the temperature inside the dwelling in real time through the use of sensors and actuators.
